Development Environment

The majority of our web sites are coded in PHP with a MySQL database back end. PHP is the most widely used programming language on the web and is robust and scaleable.

Web Site Accessibility

We believe the web should be accessible to all and ensure our code conforms to W3C standards. Our web sites are presented in semantically correct, standards compliant XHTML with styling elements introduced through external style sheets.

We use table-less design for the vast majority of our sites so they can be easily read by screen readers, or viewed on hand held devices. External style sheets also ensure that site wide changes to presentation of the site can be quickly implemented.

Font sizes are specified in percentages, to allow visually impaired visitors to easily resize text and make it easier to read.

Content Management

We believe our clients should have complete control over the content of their web sites and all of our web site solutions include an administration centre. The administration centre allows the client to

• Add/remove content pages etc.

Our more advanced solutions also facilitate upload of interactive media, such as Video and MP3.

E-Commerce

Our shopping cart system kPlus has been developed over a 6 year period and operates a number of successful retail web sites (including our own Girlz Night). The kPlus system allows full control of the clients shop through an administration centre, which includes all the features you would expect in a modern shopping cart system.

Search Engine Optimisation

All our web sites are optimised for the major search engines, with custom meta tags, compliant code, good interal link structure and rewritten urls where applicable.
